From the Rite in the Rain website:
The hassle of soggy and illegible paperwork has plagued outdoor professionals for decades Jerry Darling developed "Rite in the Rain" paper to address that problem for the Pacific Northwest logging industry in the 1920's and our product has been evolving ever since.
Jerry has since passed away but his vision has expanded worldwide. Still made in Tacoma, Washington, "Rite in the Rain" is used around the globe in situations ranging from desert warfare to rainforest insect research.
The motto "Outdoor writing products for outdoor writing people" says it all. Our R&D department is continuously developing products for new applications and we welcome your input. |

The back cover edges have rulers and the back cover has some more promotion for their products on this sample version

Inside the front cover is the story of Rite in the Rain, and the first page of this sample notebook is a contents page for keeping track what the book will be used for

The pages are each numbered and lined, with dotted faint vertical lines that create a grid like graph paper if you look closely

The last few pages of the sample notebook offer information on what styles and sizes of Rite In The Rain products are available. This seems like a clever and useful way to promote their product.
